At the heart of the international offshore sailing race circuit

An exceptional 2020 year for Offshore Sailing Race in North America, the ROUTE at the heart of a unique circuit!

The Atlantic Cup, 7th edition from June 12 to June 21, 2020, brings together a sharp fleet of Class40s for the longest double handed offshore race on the American East Coast, a 1000 mile course from Charleston, South Carolina to Portland , Maine, with a stopover in New York.

Then, the legendary Transat Québec Saint-Malo, which will start on July 12, 2020. The oldest ocean race from west to east, nonstop and crewed, brings together every four years since 1984, the best flower of ocean racers.

As a real link between these two major events, the ROUTE will welcome the fleet which will converge on Quebec. A great first time and the opportunity of a unique circuit for the many participants in these major events!

A great innovation in 2020: ROUTE Saint-Pierre Québec

Building on its position in this exceptional calendar, a second ROUTE will succeed ROUTE Halifax Saint-Pierre in 2020: ROUTE Saint-Pierre Québec, whose departure will be from Saint-Pierre on Monday, June 29, 2020.

700 miles between Saint-Pierre and Miquelon to the St. Lawrence River and the outskirts of Quebec, an offshore race to which all participants of ROUTE Halifax Saint-Pierre are invited as well as all the competitors of the Transat Quebec Saint-Malo who will come directly from Europe.

A magnificent meeting at the crossroads in the port of Saint-Pierre in perspective!

Class40 and Multi 50

The historic ROUTE Halifax Saint-Pierre fleet brings together participants from both sides of the Atlantic, ranging from passionate amateurs to experienced sailors, who compete in double or crew.

From 2018, a new class was born on the ROUTE with the Class40s which confirmed a more substantial participation for 2020. One Design monohull very popular with the greatest sailors, this augurs a prestigious plateau for a tight fight on the water!

And for the first time in 2020, a new class with the Multi50! These spectacular multihulls will join the ROUTE from Halifax for some or directly to Saint-Pierre, for the others, in order to take off from ROUTE Saint-Pierre Quebec.

Records in prospect for 2020!
